The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon supervised the student-led election of representatives for all academic stages, including the selection of the general student representative for the academic year (2021-2022). Ali Atheer Al-Qaisi, representing the fifth stage, secured the majority of votes and was officially appointed as the representative for College of Medicine students in the college council on October 24, 2021. In a meeting with the college dean and academic/administrative assistants, Al-Qaisi pledged to responsibly represent students and act as a mediator between students and faculty. The dean praised and congratulated Al-Qaisi on his appointment, emphasizing the students' trust in him and encouraging him to be a strong advocate for the students within the college council.
