Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Receives a Fact-Finding Team Professor Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, received in his office the Fact-Finding Team from the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Babylon, represented by Senior Legal Advisor Abdul Hassan Rasmi and Assistant Technical Director Ali Abdul Ghafar. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the delegation and listened to an overview presented by the team about the nature of the Commission’s work and its role in monitoring human rights issues, as well as its activities in organizing workshops and awareness seminars aimed at promoting a culture of human rights. At the conclusion of the visit, both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in holding joint workshops and seminars and participating in scientific and awareness conferences that contribute to strengthening the culture of human rights within the academic community.
