The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. Thanks and Appreciation from the Minister of Higher Education and scientific Research The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has awarded a Certificate Letter of Thanks,Gratitude and Appreciation for the Professor Dr. Mohend Abbas Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Kadhim Al-Saadi, faculty member in the Department of Microbiology, for their outstanding efforts in accrediting medical colleges in Iraq according to the standards of the Medical Colleges Accreditation Council. Professor Dr. Mohend d Abbas Al-Shalah has occupied as the head of the National Accreditation Team for the College of Medicine at the University of Al-Qadisiyah, while Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Kadhim Al-Saadi led the National Accreditation Team for the College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University and the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala It is worth noting that the role of the National Accreditation Team involves reviewing the accreditation application of a college seeking academic accreditation, verifying and classifying documents, conducting on-site visits to assess the educational process, and carrying out surveys and interviews related to the evaluation process. Following this, a final report is prepared and submitted to the Medical Colleges Accreditation Council, which then makes the necessary decision on granting international academic accreditation By: Abbas Majeed
