In a generous initiative by the Presidency of the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, represented by its Head, Professor Dr. Farah Nabil Abbas, a group of distinguished and top-performing students was honored in recognition of their exceptional efforts and academic excellence in Medical Physiology.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, who emphasized in his speech the College’s continuous support for outstanding students, noting that such excellence is the true result of perseverance and constructive interaction between students and their professors.
For her part, the Head of the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics, Professor Dr. Farah Nabil Abbas, presented certificates of appreciation and awards to the honored students. She expressed the Department’s pride in the students’ high academic level, which reflects the quality of the College’s educational outcomes, while encouraging them to prepare fully for the final comprehensive examination.
This initiative comes within the framework of the College’s policy aimed at promoting a spirit of positive competition among students, appreciating perseverance and academic diligence, and enhancing the confidence of high-achieving students to motivate them toward greater achievements in the coming academic years.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the top students expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the College Deanship and the Department Presidency for this significant moral support, affirming their determination to continue their journey of excellence in service of the community and the healthcare sector in the future
