President of the University of Babylon Inspects the Practical Examinations at the College of Medicine The President of the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Amin Ajeel Al-Yasiri, inspected the practical and clinical examinations of students at the College of Medicine during a field visit that included the College’s facilities and the Department of Surgery at Al-Hilla Teaching Hospital. The visit aimed to closely monitor the examination environment and ensure that all necessary requirements were provided for the successful conduct of the examinations. He was received by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, who accompanied him during the inspection tour and briefed him on the mechanisms adopted for managing the examinations. The University President praised the considerable efforts made by the College administration and its academic and administrative staff in organizing the examination process and distributing responsibilities, thereby ensuring smooth performance and high academic standards befitting the distinguished reputation of the University of Babylon. As part of the visit, Prof. Dr. Al-Yasiri, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Al-Shalah, visited the Department of Surgery at Al-Hilla Teaching Hospital, where they observed the students’ performance in the clinical examinations and met with the supervising faculty members and examination committees. During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of the accurate and objective assessment of students’ clinical skills, as these skills form the essential foundation for preparing competent physicians capable of providing the highest standard of healthcare services to the community in the future. For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine expressed the College’s sincere thanks and appreciation for the University Presidency’s continuous support and close field follow-up, which serve as a strong motivation to maintain excellence, enhance performance, and uphold the College’s distinguished academic and medical standards.
