College of Medicine Hosts External Expert Prof. Dr. Riyadh Dihoud Al-Zubaidi to Evaluate the Examination Process
As part of the College of Medicine’s ongoing plan to develop and continuously improve the educational process, the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon hosted Prof. Dr. Riyadh Dihoud Al-Zubaidi, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. The visit aimed to review the conduct of examinations and evaluate the procedures and mechanisms adopted in their administration.
The visiting expert was received by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, accompanied by the Assistant Deans, members of the Medical Education Unit, and the Chair of the Central Examination Committee.
The visit included a comprehensive tour during which the external expert reviewed the work of the Examination Quality Assurance Committee and its pivotal role in improving and developing the examination system in accordance with the approved educational objectives and learning outcomes.
He also examined the work of the Central Examination Committee and the departmental examination subcommittees, as well as the standards and procedures adopted for documentation, auditing, and the logistical and technical management of the examination process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the visiting professor, praising his valuable observations and recommendations, which contribute to advancing the educational and assessment processes. The Dean also presented him with the College’s Shield in recognition and appreciation of his valuable efforts.
