Faculty Member from the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Chairs Scientific Session at the First Medical Science Conference Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Al-Bayati, a consultant and faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, chaired one of the distinguished scientific sessions during the First Medical Science Conference on Diabetes (1st Best of ADA Iraq), held in Baghdad on September 25–26, 2025. The conference was the result of collaboration among three scientific bodies: the Iraqi Association of Diabetes and Endocrinology, the National Diabetes Center / Al-Mustansiriya University, and in coordination with the American Diabetes Association (ADA), one of the world’s leading institutions in medical research and specialized education on diabetes. The event gathered a distinguished group of consultants, academics, and researchers from various governorates of Iraq, providing a rich scientific environment for discussions and exchange of expertise. The sessions addressed the latest global developments in diagnosis, treatment methods, and prevention strategies. At the conclusion of the conference, participants agreed on a set of key recommendations emphasizing the necessity of updating health policies in line with the latest scientific advancements in diagnosis and treatment. These measures aim to enhance healthcare standards and improve the quality of life for patients in Iraq.
