The Department of Family and Community Medicine Visits Al-Hilla Textile Factory
As part of the activities of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, the department’s faculty members conducted a field visit to the Al-Hilla Textile Factory. The visit was organized within the training program for fourth-year students in the subject of Community Medicine, focusing on work environment and occupational injury prevention.
The faculty members and students were warmly received by the factory management. During the visit, they toured the plastic bag manufacturing section and the medical supplies production section, where students were briefed on the factory’s work environment, operational processes, and the availability of safety measures and protective equipment for workers to prevent occupational injuries.
The visit witnessed great interaction and interest from the students, who expressed their appreciation. The Department of Family and Community Medicine extended its sincere thanks and gratitude to the management of Al-Hilla Textile Factory for their kind reception, generous hospitality, and continuous cooperation in support of the educational mission.
