Awareness Seminar at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, on the Performance Evaluation Form
As part of the activities of the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, the Quality Assurance Division organized a scientific awareness seminar entitled “Performance Evaluation Form for the Academic Year 2024–2025.” The seminar addressed the regulations and mechanisms related to the evaluation files for the staff of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, the Director of the Continuing Education Unit, Professor Dr. Ilham Abbas Banyan, along with heads of academic departments, a number of faculty members, and administrative staff.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Mohsen Mohammed, Head of the Quality Assurance Division, who reviewed the key instructions and standards adopted in preparing the evaluation files. These files were designed in accordance with the legal mandates, regulations, and current ministerial guidelines, aligning with the vision and aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance academic and administrative performance.
The session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali, the Scientific Associate Dean, with Professor Dr. Hassan Salem Al-Jumaili, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, serving as the rapporteur.
The seminar witnessed extensive discussions on the components and criteria of the evaluation forms, contributing to the promotion of a culture of quality and the improvement of institutional performance within the college.
