Ministerial Team Visits the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon
A ministerial team responsible for institutional accreditation visited the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon to complete the procedures for granting institutional accreditation. The team was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shalah, in the presence of the scientific and administrative assistants, as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Sawsan Jasem Obeid, Director of the Quality Assurance Division at the University of Babylon.
The visit came in response to directives from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, emphasizing the importance of obtaining programmatic accreditation for all colleges.
During the visit, the team inspected the infrastructure, academic accreditation committees, laboratories, staff of the Quality Assurance Division, the Planning and Studies Unit, and members responsible for monitoring institutional accreditation standards.
The importance of this visit lies in clarifying the roadmap for achieving institutional accreditation and implementing standards that aim to attain high levels of quality that meet the needs of the labor market at local, regional, and international levels
