Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon Conducts Clinical Examination for Fourth-Year Students (Group Four)
The Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon conducted the periodic clinical examination for fourth-year medical students (Group Four) in the Clinical Skills Laboratory halls at the College.
The examination was held in the presence of faculty members from the Department, along with a distinguished group of specialist physicians from the Babylon Health Directorate, to ensure the rigor of the assessment and to simulate real clinical practice. The examinations were supervised by Professor Rafid Al-Husseini, who closely monitored the progress of the assessments and ensured the provision of a suitable environment to guarantee the smooth conduct of the examination and the achievement of its educational objectives.
The examination focused on evaluating students’ competency in clinical examination skills, with particular emphasis on the proper performance of the abdominal examination for various surgical conditions.
This examination forms part of the College’s approved clinical training program, which aims to strengthen students’ ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application and to ensure they acquire the essential skills required to deal with patients accurately and professionally, in accordance with the academic and training standards adopted by the College.
