Curriculum Committee Meeting at the College of Medicine – University of Babylon
Chaired by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon and Head of the Curriculum Committee, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shallah, the committee held its regular meeting for the academic year 2024–2025 at the college’s administration building. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ajrash, representative of the Babylon Health Directorate, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, committee members from all academic departments, and the student representative.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the attendees and commended their efforts throughout the academic year to advance the educational process at the College of Medicine, Babylon. The committee then reviewed items related to the completion rates of the academic curriculum and the final examination pass rates.
The Dean also emphasized the importance of faculty members reviewing and updating their lectures for the upcoming academic year, making them more interactive and evidence-based. He further stressed that all lectures should follow a unified formatting template.
During the meeting, all agenda items supporting the educational process at the College of Medicine were also reviewed and discussed
