College of Medicine – University of Babylon Holds Faculty Council Meeting Under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbas Al-Shallah, Dean of the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant and Heads of Departments, the Faculty Council was convened. The Dean welcomed the attendees and wished them continued success in all their assigned responsibilities. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chair conveyed the directives of the respected University Council, presided over by Prof. Dr. Ameen Ajeel Al-Yasiri, emphasizing the need to prepare for smart digital education and to promote awareness and readiness for its implementation in the upcoming academic year. The council also addressed the importance of training on key portfolios, particularly: • Quality assurance • Academic accreditation • University rankings, which contribute to enhancing the reputation of the College of Medicine – Babylon in both local and international classifications. Finally, the council discussed other matters listed on the agenda related to undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as scientific and administrative aspects of the college
