Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, inspected the rehabilitation and renovation works of Dr. Farhan Baqir’s lecture hall, in the presence of Professor Dr. Kazem Jawad Al-Hamdani, the Administrative Assistant Dean. The purpose of the project is to expand the hall to accommodate the increasing number of students admitted to the College of Medicine.
During his inspection, the Dean noted that the rehabilitation of the lecture halls aims to increase student capacity by expanding the space of Dr. Farhan Baqir’s hall, and he directed that the work be completed within the specified timeframe and according to the required standards so that it can be ready for use at the beginning of the academic year.
The Dean also provided several important remarks focused on the structural integrity of the building and emphasized the application of safety and security standards to protect the students, while also ensuring the aesthetics and appearance of the external structure.
Afterward, the Dean toured a number of ongoing projects at the College of Medicine to review the progress of work and to add suggestions that would contribute to improving performance and expediting implementation
