Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, inspected the work of removing the plastic panel coverings from the college’s walls and buildings, replacing them with paint in accordance with the directives of the Ministry and the University.
On the sidelines of the tour, the Dean reviewed the most important needs of the lecture halls and their provision with all necessary requirements to enhance the academic level in line with sound scientific standards. He also stressed the importance of improving the quality of services provided to students, as they represent Iraq’s promising future.
He further called for paying attention to the general cleanliness of classrooms, teaching laboratories, and the college’s facilities and gardens, in addition to providing all essential requirements to ensure that the departments, units, and divisions of the college appear in an appropriate and respectable manner.
For her part, Engineer Wasan Abdul-Zahra Hussein, who is responsible for carrying out the removal of the plastic coverings, stated that the completion rate has reached 80%. She also noted that five sanitation facilities within the college buildings have been renovated and rehabilitated
