Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon Meets with the Department of Microbiology Council Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, met with the members of the Department of Microbiology Council, in the presence of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali Hussein. The Dean welcomed the attendees, wishing them continued success in all their assigned tasks and congratulating them on the start of the new academic year. He expressed his hope that God Almighty would make it a year of blessings and success for everyone in all fields. The meeting emphasized the importance of full preparation for the new academic year, including the preparation of the time schedule (Time Table) for the subjects of Microbiology and Medical Parasitology for the first semester and making it available to students at the beginning of the academic year. It also included preparing the practical laboratories and the necessary requirements for conducting practical experiments, updating and reviewing the curriculum, and fully updating the lectures to ensure they are presented within a unified template specific to the College of Medicine. The Dean also directed that the most senior faculty member should be present in the practical laboratories to support the new instructors in delivering practical sessions to students, encouraging cooperation, confidence, and the use of modern teaching methods. At the end of the meeting, the Dean praised the efforts made by the faculty members of the Department of Microbiology in delivering scientific content to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the best possible way, also appreciating the efforts of all staff working in the department and laboratories.a
