Dean of the University of Babylon College of Medicine Inspects Renovation and Rehabilitation Projects of Buildings and Classrooms
Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, inspected the projects for rehabilitating, maintaining, and developing the college’s classrooms and buildings, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant Dean, Professor Dr. Kazem Jawad Al-Hamdani. These projects aim to present the college in a proper and distinguished appearance that reflects its academic status, to advance both the scientific and infrastructural environment, and to create an ideal learning atmosphere for students in preparation for the start of the new academic year.
Dean Al-Shalah explained that the maintenance and renovation works included rehabilitating Dr. Farhan Baqir’s lecture hall and expanding its capacity to accommodate a larger number of students, as well as refurbishing the student restrooms and constructing additional facilities to meet the needs of the growing student population.
In addition, the walls of the main buildings and all corridors of the college were repainted with high-quality, internationally sourced paints meeting the required specifications. All classrooms were equipped with large display screens, and additional chairs were added to compensate for the shortage caused by the increasing number of admitted students
