The Deanery of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon Conducts Interviews with New Students
The Deanery of the College of Medicine conducted interviews for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The interview committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali, the Scientific Assistant Dean, and Lecturer Suren Ameen Fattah Al-Bayati, the Director of Registration.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed the new students, wishing them an academic year full of achievement. He pointed out that they are the distinguished scientific elite who will become the doctors of the future and will provide the best medical and healthcare services to Iraqi society. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the professional ethics of medicine, which form the foundation of the profession, and introduced them to the academic system followed in the college.
He also highlighted the necessity of complying with the regulations and laws in force at the college, urging them to attend classes regularly and adhere to the unified uniform, which is considered part of the student’s identity.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Al-Shalah stressed the importance of diligence and perseverance from the very beginning to achieve the best results, affirming that the doors of the Deanery are open at any time to overcome any difficulties or problems they may face. He wished them a distinguished future, as they are the ones who will continue the medical educational journey at the College of Medicine in Babylon.
