Receives an “Excellent” Rating in the Ministerial Evaluation

In recognition of the outstanding scientific efforts of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, in strengthening quality standards and academic accreditation, the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research granted a Letter of Appreciation to Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine, after the college achieved an “Excellent” rating in the evaluation of the scientific and academic reality for the 2024–2025 academic year.

This recognition is the result of the continuous support provided by the University Presidency, represented by Professor Dr. Ameen Ajeel Al-Yasiri, University President, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Al-Khafaji, Scientific Assistant, and Professor Dr. Meethaq Talib Al-Jubouri, Administrative Assistant, along with the efforts of the College Deanery, heads of departments, the Medical Education Unit, and the academic and administrative staff in advancing academic and research performance. It also reflects the college’s commitment to implementing curriculum development programs and modern teaching methods aimed at achieving a comprehensive educational environment that aligns with national and international accreditation standards.

This achievement embodies the vision of the College of Medicine in building a robust academic model in medical education, contributing to the preparation of competent physicians capable of serving the community in healthcare institutions, and enhancing the University of Babylon’s position among Iraq’s leading specialized universities
