Professor Dr. Hassan Salem Abdulsada Al-Jumaili, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, and Professor Dr. Ali Jabir Al-Maamouri participated in the preliminary and final examinations in internal medicine and its subspecialties, held in the Martyr Dharb Al-Moussawi Hall at the Medical City Complex. The examinations were supervised by Professor Dr. Nizar Abdul Latif, Chairman of the Iraqi Board Scientific Council for Internal Medicine, and attended by faculty members from various medical centers across the provinces.
Dr. Al-Jumaili explained that this written theoretical examination represents the final stage for students of the Iraqi Board in Internal Medicine, followed by a practical examination for those who pass, after which successful candidates are awarded the Iraqi Board Certificate in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties.
He added that the aim of the examination is to enhance the quality and rigor of the Iraqi Board training in internal medicine, motivating students to continuously review credible academic sources and textbooks throughout their years of study. This process contributes to elevating the scientific and practical level of board students and serves as an essential link between the theoretical and practical examinations
