Civil Defense Training Workshop at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Muhannad Abbass Al-Shalah, and within the framework of strengthening safety and security requirements in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency, a specialized training workshop was held for the staff of the College of Medicine.
The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Department of Diwan Affairs / Civil Defense Unit at the University of Babylon. Its primary objective was to raise preventive awareness among college staff and to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and employees in the fields of civil defense and first aid, as well as to form self-protection teams capable of responding effectively and rapidly to various emergency situations.
The workshop was delivered by Mr. Raad Abbas Hashim, an employee of the Department of Diwan Affairs at the University of Babylon, who provided a detailed explanation of basic preventive procedures and appropriate emergency response mechanisms.
