Dean of the College of Medicine Chairs the Examination Committee Meeting
Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, chaired an expanded meeting with the members of the newly formed Examination Committee for the academic year 2025–2026, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
During the meeting, the Dean urged committee members to exert maximum efforts and intensify their work to ensure the success of the examination process at the college. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in performance, in order to ensure the smooth conduct of the educational process and to safeguard students’ rights and academic aspirations.
In a related context, it was agreed to organize a specialized workshop to be delivered by the Head of the Examination Committee, Professor Dr. Abdul-Samee Hassan Al-Ta’i, early next week.
The workshop aims to:
• Familiarize committee members with the University Examination Management Guide issued by the Ministry.
• Explain the applicable examination regulations and instructions to ensure their optimal implementation.
• Unify perspectives and mechanisms adopted in managing the examination process for the current academic year.
This meeting comes as part of a series of early preparations undertaken by the College Deanship to provide a rigorous examination environment befitting the scientific standing of the University of Babylon.
