Assistant President of the University of Babylon for Administrative Affairs Inspects Infrastructure Projects at the College of Medicine The Assistant President of the University of Babylon for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mithaq Talib Al-Jubouri, conducted a field inspection visit to the College of Medicine, where he was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah. The visit aimed to follow up on the progress of infrastructure development projects currently underway at the college. The tour included visits to the construction sites of the new lecture halls and scientific laboratories. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Al-Jubouri reviewed the ongoing stages of work and stressed the importance of adhering to approved engineering and technical standards as well as the specified timelines for completion, in order to provide an integrated educational environment befitting the college’s students and faculty. Accompanying the Assistant President on the tour were the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Al-Shalah, the Head of the College Engineering Division, Engineer Nadia Shihab Hamad, in addition to the university’s engineering committee supervising the projects. The tour included a review of detailed engineering plans and the achieved completion rates of the lecture halls and laboratories, as well as discussions on the level of logistical services and auxiliary facilities associated with the new buildings. For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohend Al-Shalah, praised the continuous support provided by the University Presidency, affirming that these projects represent a qualitative leap in accommodating the increasing numbers of students and in developing the practical and research aspects through modern laboratories. The administrative assistant concluded his tour by commending the efforts exerted by the engineering staff and supervising bodies, emphasizing that the University of Babylon places the development of infrastructure in its scientific colleges at the forefront of its priorities in order to strengthen the university’s academic standing.
