College of Medicine – University of Babylon Holds an Awareness Seminar on Women’s Excellence and Its Role in Improving Performance
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Amin Ajeel Al-Yasiri, and with direct supervision by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a specialized awareness seminar entitled:
“When Women Excel, Performance Transforms.”
This seminar comes as part of the College’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically:
• Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being
• Goal 4: Quality Education
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Huda Hadi Mohammed, and the seminar was moderated by Lecturer Dr. Sabrin Salim Abdul Karim, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit.
The seminar addressed key themes focusing on the importance of women’s role in developing the academic and professional work environment, and how excellence in carrying out tasks reflects on the quality of outcomes and contributes to improving overall institutional performance.
The seminar witnessed active attendance and engagement from faculty members, staff, and postgraduate students.
