Babylon College of Medicine Students Win Top Places in the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) Qur’an Memorization Competition
The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon continues to reap the fruits of its students’ excellence—not only in scientific and medical fields, but also in cultural and religious forums. Two of our students achieved advanced ranks in the Qur’an memorization competition organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him).
The results for Babylon Medicine students were as follows:
• The outstanding student Duaa Maytham Abdul Zaid (Third Year) won first place in the “Full Qur’an Memorization” category. This achievement is her third of its kind in Qur’an memorization competitions at the national level in Iraq, reflecting her continued distinction and excellence.
• The student Mustafa Kazim Abbas (Third Year) won second place in the “Memorization of 20 Juz’” category, marking a notable presence that reflects talent and diligent effort.
The Deanship of the College of Medicine expresses its pride in this blessed achievement by its students, affirming its full support for student talents that raise the name of the College and the University in various religious and national events.
