In a Ceremony of Appreciation… The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon Honors Employee Ahmed Ali on the Occasion of His Retirement
The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon held a joyful appreciation ceremony honoring Mr. Ahmed Ali Jawad on the occasion of his retirement, following a distinguished career marked by dedication and commitment. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, the Scientific Assistant Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali Hussein, Prof. Dr. Kazem Al-Hamdani, and a number of the college’s staff and employees.
The ceremony opened with a speech by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, in which he praised the honoree’s efforts and sincerity throughout his years of service, emphasizing that the college takes pride in its staff members who have devoted their lives to serving the educational institution. The Scientific Assistant Dean and Prof. Dr. Kazem Al-Hamdani also delivered speeches expressing their pride in the collegial relationship they shared with Mr. Ahmed Ali, wishing him a future filled with health and happiness.
The event included a formal recognition segment reflecting the spirit of one family within the college, during which commemorative shields and tokens of appreciation were presented. Prof. Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah awarded the college shield and a certificate of appreciation in recognition of the honoree’s exceptional efforts. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali Hussein also presented a commemorative gift as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation. In a kind gesture, the honoree’s colleagues from among the college employees offered symbolic gifts and words of thanks, underscoring the strong bonds of brotherhood formed over years of work.
The ceremony concluded with taking commemorative photos that brought together the college leadership, faculty members, and staff with their retired colleague, in an atmosphere filled with warmth and loyalty, wishing him continued success in his future life.
