Babylon College of Medicine Organizes a Protest Stand Condemning the Aggression Against the Islamic Republic
The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon organized a protest stand condemning the brutal war and blatant attacks that targeted the brotherly Islamic Republic and the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces, while also declaring mourning for the soul of the revered martyr leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei (may God have mercy upon him).
The stand was led by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, with the participation of the Scientific Assistant Dean and the Administrative Assistant Dean, in addition to the wide presence of faculty members, employees, and students of the college.
Participants in the protest expressed their strong condemnation of the policies of aggression targeting the region, its symbols, and its resources, affirming that the academic community stands united in confronting the challenges facing the nation. The stand also included:
• Recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the righteous martyrs.
• Memorial speeches recalling the leading role of the martyr leader Sayyid al-Khamenei in supporting the causes of the region.
• Raising banners expressing solidarity with the Islamic Republic, the security forces, and the Popular Mobilization Forces in defending sovereignty and dignity.
This stand reflects the principled position of the University of Babylon and the College of Medicine in engaging with critical national issues, and serves as an expression of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs who wrote the finest chapters of sacrifice and devotion.
