Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon Inspects Progress of Ongoing Construction Projects
The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, Prof. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, conducted a field inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the construction and development projects currently underway at the College.
During the tour, he was accompanied by the Director of the University’s Reconstruction and Projects Department, Assistant Lecturer Engineer Amir Jassim Al-Shammari, in addition to the engineering staff of the College’s Engineering Unit.
The tour included on-site review of the stages of work progress across several construction locations. The Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to the scheduled timelines and urged the implementing teams to accelerate the pace of work to ensure timely completion of the projects. He also stressed the necessity of maintaining high implementation quality in accordance with the required engineering standards.
These projects aim to modernize lecture halls and scientific laboratories in order to provide an ideal academic environment for both students and teaching staff.
For his part, Engineer Amir Jassim Al-Shammari presented a detailed explanation of the achieved completion rates, praising the continuous cooperation between the Reconstruction and Projects Department and the College Deanship in overcoming technical and logistical challenges that may affect workflow.
Such field visits come within the framework of the College’s strategic plan to develop its facilities and vital infrastructure, in line with the scientific and urban development witnessed by the University of Babylon.
