With Academic and Student Participation, the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon Takes Part in the Seventh International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation in Baghdad
The activities of the Seventh International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation concluded in Baghdad, held at the Al-Mansour Melia Hotel under the generous patronage of the Prime Minister. The conference was attended by his representative, Dr. Ali Razouqi, and on behalf of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Amin Ajil Al-Yasiri, President of University of Babylon. The conference was chaired by Professor Lubna Khamees and organized through the distinguished efforts of Professor Luay Abdul Abbas, Secretary-General of the International Iraqi Creativity and Innovation Forum.
The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon recorded a notable scientific and organizational presence at this major event, which brought together 1,320 scientists, researchers, and innovators representing 12 ministries and Arab and international institutions.
Assistant Professor Iman Mohammed Burhan, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, led and managed the conference’s official website, providing important technical and organizational contributions that supported the success of this significant event.
At the level of scientific sessions, Professor Tariq Mughair, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, chaired one of the specialized scientific sessions in the medical sciences, moderating the academic discussions presented by participating researchers and enriching the session with his distinguished academic expertise.
The conference also witnessed active participation from a select group of students of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, who contributed as members of supporting committees and played an effective role in organizing and facilitating the conference activities. This participation reflects the College’s commitment to engaging its students in international scientific events and enhancing their organizational and leadership skills.
At the conclusion of the conference, the participating team from the College of Medicine expressed their pride in this distinguished representation and extended their appreciation and gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this scientific event, which represents a valuable addition to the movement of scientific research and innovation in Iraq.
