President of the University of Babylon Inspects Construction Projects at the College of Medicine The President of the University of Babylon, Professor Amin Ajeel Al-Yasiri, inspected the construction projects currently underway at the College of Medicine, where he was received and accompanied by the Dean of the College, Professor Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, in the presence of the Director of the University Projects and Construction Department, Assistant Lecturer Amir Al-Shammari, the Head of the College Engineering Division, Engineer Nadia Shihab Hamad, and the engineering staff. This visit comes within the framework of the ongoing field follow-up program aimed at developing the infrastructure of the University’s educational institutions. During the visit, the University President reviewed the progress of the ongoing work and listened to a detailed explanation presented by the resident engineers regarding the implementation mechanisms and technical challenges. During the tour, Professor Al-Yasiri emphasized: • Intensifying efforts to ensure the completion of projects within an accelerated timeframe • Maintaining technical precision and full compliance with approved engineering specifications and modern standards • Adopting solutions that enhance building efficiency and provide a safe and comfortable educational environment for students and faculty members He also stressed the importance of strong coordination between administrative and technical bodies to overcome obstacles and accelerate the pace of work, along with strict adherence to occupational safety standards at construction sites. This visit reflects the commitment of both the Deanship of the College of Medicine and the University Presidency to implementing the strategic plan aimed at modernizing educational and service facilities in line with global scientific developments and meeting the requirements of academic accreditation.
