Academic Accreditation Committees at the College of Medicine Continue Their Regular Meetings to Enhance and Develop the Curriculum
Under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, the main and subcommittees for academic accreditation at the College of Medicine, University of Babylon, continued their intensive series of meetings to monitor and discuss ongoing reports related to fulfilling the requirements of programmatic academic accreditation for medical colleges.
In this context, an expanded meeting was held today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the College Council Hall, during which reports on Standards Seven, Eight, and Nine were reviewed and discussed. The meeting highlighted key areas of weakness with the aim of developing immediate solutions to address and overcome them.
These meetings are conducted in line with the college’s approved policy and program for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the academic curriculum, with the objective of achieving the highest levels of improvement and continuous development, thereby contributing effectively to enhancing the quality and academic rigor of the educational process within the college.
