Launch of Final Examinations for First-Year Medical Students
The College of Medicine at the University of Babylon commenced the final comprehensive examination in Anatomy for first-year students on Monday, June 8, 2026, in a well-organized academic environment designed to provide the best possible conditions for students.
As part of the ongoing field follow-up, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbas Al-Shalah, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ashraf Mohammed Ali Hussein, conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls to closely monitor the examination process and ensure its smooth and efficient conduct.
During the visit, emphasis was placed on the implementation of all instructions and directives issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University regarding comprehensive examinations.
The delegation also inspected the availability of all logistical and service requirements, including lighting, air conditioning, and the organization of examination halls and laboratories, to ensure students’ physical comfort and psychological well-being.
Furthermore, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbas Al-Shalah met with students and listened to their views regarding the examination questions and their alignment with the prescribed curriculum, encouraging them to continue exerting their best efforts and maintain focus in pursuit of academic excellence.
