College of Medicine, University of Babylon Conducts a Trial National Standardized Examination for Sixth-Year Students
As part of its intensive preparations for the final ministerial national standardized examination, the College of Medicine, University of Babylon conducted a trial national standardized examination for sixth-year students for the academic year 2025–2026, with the aim of enhancing students’ readiness and ensuring the preparedness of the technical infrastructure required for conducting the electronic examination according to approved standards.
The examination was carried out under the direct supervision and field follow-up of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, who closely monitored all aspects of the examination process and emphasized the importance of providing an appropriate examination environment for students to ensure the success of this trial and achieve its objectives in simulating the final national standardized examination and improving both technical and academic preparedness.
The examination involved the participation of 450 students, distributed across seven examination halls, and 503 modern tablet devices were provided to ensure the smooth conduct of the electronic examination in accordance with the technical requirements approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The trial examination was also attended by the technical team from the College of Information Technology, headed by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Jawad Kadhim Al-Janabi, with the participation of Assistant Professor Iman Mohammed Burhan, the authorized coordinator for the national standardized examination at the College of Medicine, in addition to the College’s designated technical support team responsible for supervising technical procedures and ensuring the accuracy and smooth flow of the examination process without obstacles.
This step represents part of a series of preparatory measures adopted by the College of Medicine, University of Babylon to ensure the highest levels of organizational and technical readiness, contributing to meeting the requirements of the ministerial national standardized examination and enhancing the quality of medical education outcomes.
