The meeting was attended by committee members, heads of scientific departments, student representatives, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ajrash representing the Babylon Health Directorate. The meeting witnessed extensive discussions regarding mechanisms for reviewing the curricula of each course. A committee had previously been formed by the Dean to review the curriculum in order to achieve both horizontal and vertical integration. During the meeting, the responsibilities and timelines of the committee were clearly defined. The discussions resulted in the development of a comprehensive action plan that included the distribution of tasks and the establishment of precise timelines to ensure the complete readiness of all curricula before the beginning of the next academic year, reaffirming the College’s commitment to advancing the educational environment. As part of monitoring the educational process, the committee reviewed reports submitted by the scientific departments concerning the completion rates of the second-semester academic curricula. In this regard, Professor Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah emphasized the necessity for all departments to submit periodic reports regularly to ensure accurate follow-up and evaluation. The meeting also provided students with an active opportunity to participate, as their representative presented several important observations related to curriculum implementation and the ongoing preparations for final examinations. This reflected the College’s commitment to listening to students’ perspectives in order to overcome obstacles and ensure that examinations proceed according to the required standards. At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah honored Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ajrash with a letter of appreciation in recognition of his distinguished efforts and effective contributions in supporting the College, as well as his fruitful cooperation in enhancing the educational process and developing student training programs within the healthcare institutions affiliated with the Babylon Health Directorate
