the Programmatic Academic Accreditation Committee at the College of Medicine held a regular meeting attended by the Medical Education Unit

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Mohend Abbass Al-Shalah, the Programmatic Academic Accreditation Committee at the College of Medicine held a regular meeting attended by the Medical Education Unit, heads and members of the subcommittees, and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed and discussed the progress achieved by the academic staff assigned to Axes One, Five, and Six within the college’s Self-Assessment Study, in accordance with the standards adopted by the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq (NCAMC).
The agenda included the following:
1. Reviewing each axis individually and evaluating the percentages of completion achieved.
2. Identifying the points that still require completion and providing the necessary data to accurately fulfill the requirements of each axis.
3. Agreeing on a timetable to complete the discussion of the remaining axes during the next two weeks.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to complete the self-assessment report, stressing that the college is moving steadily toward achieving all quality standards to ensure academic and administrative advancement and to obtain full programmatic accreditation, thereby strengthening the college’s standing locally and internationally
